Devotional

FREEDOM IN NATIONAL UNITY

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in Me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as You are in Me & I am in You. May they also be in Us so that the world may believe the You have sent Me. I have given them the glory that You gave Me, that they may be one as We are one: I in them & You in Me.
May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that You sent Me & have loved them even as You have loved Me.” John 17:20-23

Prayer: Father, in this season of celebrating independence, we lift our nation to You, praying for unity among all people, regardless of race, creed, or background. Bind us together with cords of love & understanding, & heal the divisions that have separated us. May we celebrate freedom not only in words but in deeds that honor justice, equality, & peace.
Strengthen our leaders to govern with wisdom & integrity. Help us all to cherish the liberties we enjoy & to protect them vigilantly. Let Your Spirit of freedom inspire us to build a nation that reflects Your righteousness & grace. Amen.
