Our Story

Second Street Pantry was established as a community outreach program by a few First United Methodist Bentonville Church members in 2011. We operated as a ministry of the church on the church property at 201 NW 2nd Street in Bentonville.

In January of 2017, Second Street Pantry Missions, Inc (SSPM) applied for and became a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit in the state of Arkansas.

Our organization provides food, personal care goods, financial assistance, and education to those experiencing situational or generational poverty.

SSPM operates with a 100% volunteer staff and is 100% funded by donations from area individuals, businesses, churches and foundations.

Each Tuesday we offer groceries and limited financial assistance.  Diapers are available on the first Tuesday of each month and personal care items are available on the last Tuesday of the month.  Three local schools are supplied with Snack Packs.  Food items in the Little Pantry located outside the church building on the corner of NW 2nd and NW A Street are available daily.
